Providence Health & Services Pharmacy Clinical Manager in Portland, Oregon

Description:

Providence is calling a Clinical Services Manager (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR.

In this position, you will:

  • Be responsible for implementation and refinement of the Clinical Pharmacy Practice Model at the ministry level.

  • Perform key roles including: Clinical staff development, implementation of Regional P&T Committee drug policy and formulary decisions, site coordination of pharmacy experiential and residency training programs, coordination of medication use evaluation and adverse drug reaction reporting, and personnel management of clinical staff as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy (DOP)

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • The Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) -or- Master of Science (M.S.) degree with residency or equivalent work experience

  • Current registration and licensure by the Oregon State Board of Pharmacy

  • 3 years experience in a hospital or health system pharmacy practice

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Postgraduate Year 1 (PGY-1) Residency Training and Board Certification

  • 2 years supervisory experience
